Proper Params
Shared parameters, done properly.
SPF Editor & Binding Audit are free, forever. No account needed.
The problem
Shared parameter files are the backbone of any serious Revit project, but managing them is a nightmare. Revit's built-in editor is a plain text dialog from 2005. You can't see which parameters are bound to which categories, you can't bulk-bind across a project, and there's no way to check whether your parameters align with ISO 19650 naming conventions.
The result: duplicate parameters, broken bindings, and a shared parameter file that nobody trusts. On a live project, finding the problem takes longer than fixing it.
What it does
SPF Editor
Browse your shared parameter file in a proper table — groups, GUIDs, data types, descriptions. Edit inline. No more opening a plain text file.
Binding Audit
See exactly which shared parameters are bound to which categories in your project. Spot duplicates and missing bindings at a glance.
Bulk Bind
Select parameters and categories, bind them all in one operation. No clicking through the family parameters dialog 40 times.
ISO 19650 Checker
Validate your shared parameter names against ISO 19650 conventions. Flags non-compliant names and suggests corrections.
